long answer: When an Internet consumer is clicking
around various real estate websites, looking for help, loyalty
to a particular agent is usually not a factor. They may submit
requests on several properties and to multiple agents and different
companies. That hot new lead just sits in your email until you
go online and check you mail again.
If you're like most busy agents, you are not staring at your
computer all day waiting for the next "You've Got Mail".
You are out of the office doing a listing presentation, or
showing properties, or maybe doing the mom or dad thing at
your kid's soccer game. It could be hours before you even
learn a new lead had come in. What was the prospect
doing during those hours? If the agent had a
Push to Talk button they would
be on the phone getting their questions answered immediately.
